Under our corporate social responsibility, we acknowledge our duty to take appropriate measures regarding personal information obtained through our business activities, in order to fulfill the trust placed in us not only by our customers but also by our registered interpreters, translators, and language staff. To promote the following initiatives, we have established the “Personal Information Protection Policy” as outlined below. All employees shall understand and implement this policy.

Any acquisition of personal information shall be by legal and appropriate means with the consent of the person(s) in question, taking into consideration the nature and scale of our business.
Furthermore, regarding the acquisition, use, and provision of personal information, we will not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use (i.e., we will not use it for other purposes), and we will implement measures to ensure this.
Security measures and corrective actions shall be implemented to prevent unauthorized access to personal information as well as its loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc.
The Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws, government guidelines and other regulations applicable to personal information held by the company shall be complied with.
KYT shall establish, implement and continually improve a personal information protection management system.
We will set up a customer consultation desk to handle complaints and inquiries.

On handling of confidential information KYT and its personnel shall in good faith fulfill their custodial obligation to exert care in the handling of any documents or materials (including personal information) received from the customer in the course of executing duties upon request of the customer. All such materials shall be held in safekeeping until completion of duties, and promptly destroyed or returned to the customer thereafter.
No documents or materials held in safekeeping as stated in above shall be disclosed to any third party.
Confidentiality obligations regarding third party disclosure of information obtained in the course of performing duties, including personal information, shall be strictly adhered to during execution of duties and thereafter.
