By instantly typing spoken dialogue and displaying them as subtitles, clients can deliver their messages in both audio and visual formats.
Clients can also choose to display subtitles of interpreted audio by utilizing this service in combination with KYT's simultaneous interpreting service.

01Same language subtitles Subtitle display in one language
The assigned professional typist will instantly type spoken Japanese, which will then be displayed as Japanese subtitles. While it requires 2-3 seconds before the dialogue is displayed as subtitles, clients can deliver messages nearly in real time. It is also possible to display subtitles on a large screen at an event venue or on devices during online streaming. -
02multilingual subtitles Subtitle display in multiple languages
As the simultaneous interpreter interprets the original audio's English dialogue, the professional typist will type out the interpreter's spoken Japanese to display Japanese subtitles along with English audio. The opposite is also possible--English subtitles can be displayed along with Japanese audio, as the original Japanese is interpreted into English to be typed out by the professional typist. These cases involve a 2-3 second delay for simultaneous interpreting, and then another 2-3 seconds for typing, for a total of 5-6 seconds of delay for results as subtitles.

STEP01QueriesKYT coordinators will ask specific questions to better understand your request, such as the meeting/conference content, date, place, time, target language(s), interpretation format (if applicable), participants, etc.

STEP02QuotesOn the basis of the requirements and work contents, the coordinators will make a proposal on the number of typists and the required equipment. When necessary, coordinators will propose simultaneous interpretation services.

STEP03Advance PreparationThe coordinators will ask for details such as programs for the conference/event, execution place, subtitle display methods, etc. Please provide any scripts, presentations or other materials to be used by the speaker(s) so the typists(s) can prepare beforehand. Thorough preparation regarding technical terms, proper nouns, etc. will help ensure satisfactory performance.

STEP04On the Day of ServiceTypist(s) and technical staff will go to the designated location at the time requested. Interpreter(s) and coordinators may accompany the typist(s) as needed.

STEP05Follow-up ServiceOn conclusion of the assignment, we seek the feedback of the customer and the participants for improvement of interpretation services in the future. Any overtime or problems that occur are also reported.
